Adam had relations with his wife again; and she gave birth to a son, and named him Seth, for, she said, “God has appointed me another child in place of Abel, because Cain killed him.”

To Seth also a son was born; and he named him Enosh. Then people began to call upon the name of the LORD.

This is the book of the generations of Adam. On the day when God created man, He made him in the likeness of God.

He created them male and female, and He blessed them and named them “mankind” on the day when they were created.

When Adam had lived 130 years, he fathered a son in his own likeness, according to his image, and named him Seth.

Then the days of Adam after he fathered Seth were eight hundred years, and he fathered other sons and daughters.

So all the days that Adam lived were 930 years, and he died.

Now Seth lived 105 years, and fathered Enosh.

Then Seth lived 807 years after he fathered Enosh, and he fathered other sons and daughters.

So all the days of Seth were 912 years, and he died.

Now Enosh lived ninety years, and fathered Kenan.

Then Enosh lived 815 years after he fathered Kenan, and he fathered other sons and daughters.

So all the days of Enosh were 905 years, and he died.

Now Kenan lived seventy years, and fathered Mahalalel.

Then Kenan lived 840 years after he fathered Mahalalel, and he fathered other sons and daughters.

So all the days of Kenan were 910 years, and he died.

Now Mahalalel lived sixty-five years, and fathered Jared.

Then Mahalalel lived 830 years after he fathered Jared, and he fathered other sons and daughters.

So all the days of Mahalalel were 895 years, and he died.

Now Jared lived 162 years, and fathered Enoch.

Then Jared lived eight hundred years after he fathered Enoch, and he fathered other sons and daughters.

So all the days of Jared were 962 years, and he died.

Now Enoch lived sixty-five years, and fathered Methuselah.

Then Enoch walked with God three hundred years after he fathered Methuselah, and he fathered other sons and daughters.

o all the days of Enoch were 365 years.

Enoch walked with God; and he was not, for God took him.

Now Methuselah lived 187 years, and fathered Lamech.

Then Methuselah lived 782 years after he fathered Lamech, and he fathered other sons and daughters.

27

So all the days of Methuselah were 969 years, and he died.

28

Now Lamech lived 182 years, and fathered a son.

29

And he named him Noah, saying, “This one will give us comfort from our work and from the hard labor of our hands caused by the ground which the LORD has cursed.”

30

Then Lamech lived 595 years after he fathered Noah, and he fathered other sons and daughters.

31

So all the days of Lamech were 777 years, and he died.

32

Now after Noah was five hundred years old, Noah fathered Shem, Ham, and Japheth.

So all the days of Enosh were 905 years, and he died.

게난은 칠십 세에 마할랄렐을 낳았고

Now Kenan lived seventy years, and fathered Mahalalel.

마할랄렐을 낳은 후 팔백사십 년을 지내며 자녀들을 낳았으며

Then Kenan lived 840 years after he fathered Mahalalel, and he fathered other sons and daughters.

그는 구백십 세를 살고 죽었더라

So all the days of Kenan were 910 years, and he died.

마할랄렐은 육십오 세에 야렛을 낳았고

Now Mahalalel lived sixty-five years, and fathered Jared.

야렛을 낳은 후 팔백삼십 년을 지내며 자녀를 낳았으며

Then Mahalalel lived 830 years after he fathered Jared, and he fathered other sons and daughters.

그는 팔백구십오 세를 살고 죽었더라

So all the days of Mahalalel were 895 years, and he died.

야렛은 백육십이 세에 에녹을 낳았고

Now Jared lived 162 years, and fathered Enoch.

에녹을 낳은 후 팔백 년을 지내며 자녀들을 낳았으며

Then Jared lived eight hundred years after he fathered Enoch, and he fathered other sons and daughters.

그는 구백육십이 세를 살고 죽었더라

So all the days of Jared were 962 years, and he died.

에녹은 육십오 세에 므두셀라를 낳았고

Now Enoch lived sixty-five years, and fathered Methuselah.

므두셀라를 낳은 후 삼백 년을 하나님과 동행하며 자녀들을 낳았으며

Then Enoch walked with God three hundred years after he fathered Methuselah, and he fathered other sons and daughters.

그는 삼백육십오 세를 살았더라

o all the days of Enoch were 365 years.

에녹이 하나님과 동행하더니 하나님이 그를 데려가시므로 세상에 있지 아니하였더라

Enoch walked with God; and he was not, for God took him.

25

므두셀라는 백팔십칠 세에 라멕을 낳았고

Now Methuselah lived 187 years, and fathered Lamech.

라멕을 낳은 후 칠백팔십이 년을 지내며 자녀를 낳았으며

Then Methuselah lived 782 years after he fathered Lamech, and he fathered other sons and daughters.

그는 구백육십구 세를 살고 죽었더라

So all the days of Methuselah were 969 years, and he died.

라멕은 백팔십이 세에 아들을 낳고

Now Lamech lived 182 years, and fathered a son.

이름을 노아라 하여 이르되 여호와께서 땅을 저주하시므로 수고롭게 일하는 우리를 이 아들이 안위하리라 하였더라

노아는 오백 세 된 후에 셈과 함과 야벳을 낳았더라

Now after Noah was five hundred years old, Noah fathered Shem, Ham, and Japheth.
